Camp Kadimah

Camp Kadimah is located on beautiful Lake William in Nova Scotia.  Since 1943, Jewish children aged 7-16 have come from across the world to participate in the summers of their lives and to create lifelong friendships. Camp Kadimah prides itself on its warm community and developing confident, young Jewish leaders for the future. Camp Kadimah is proud to be afiliated with Canadian Young Judaea.

The Kadimah program is varied and unique and offers campers a wide variety of physical and cultural activities.  At Kadimah, Jewish and secular programming is combined to foster Jewish identity in an active, fun environment. Camp Kadimah offers a wide variety of specialties including scouting, land sports, instructional swimming, water skiing, sailing, canoe and kayaking, drama, arts and crafts, Israeli song and dance and cultural programming.

Jared Goldlust has been the camp director since 2011. Jared has been involved with Camp Kadimah for 13 years, taking on such roles as a CIT, section head, program director, administrator, assistant director, and associate director. When he's not at camp, Jared works out of Kadimah's Toronto office. Jared is excited to continue to use his extensive camp background, training and education to share the special Kadimah experience with Jewish youth across Canada and Israel.
